A sunny good morning to you all, it's time for our May challenge and we hope our theme matches the weather where you live🌞☀️.......
******Bright Sunny Colours******
The title speaks for itself really, all we ask is that the focal element of your creation is hand stamped (or digital) and your entry is bright and sunny. Don't forget you can enter three different pieces of artwork.......they don't have to be cards either so long as they are stamped.
One of our team Leanne has moved on to pastures new, we thank her for the inspiration she has shared with us and wish her well. This means we are looking for one or two new DT's, however we are not having a DT call, so please DO NOT mail us as it will not influence our choice.
Instead, if you think you would fit into our friendly little team all you need to do is......
- Enter this months challenge using a Chocolate Baroque stamp/s and put 'DT' against your name when linking.
We will be visiting the blogs of all those interested and inviting new DT/s from those entrants (yes you do need a blog).
Please note: You must have sufficient Chocolate Baroque stamps to be able to work to our upcoming themes and provide two inspirational pieces each month. Have an active blog and be prepared to comment on entries. In return you will receive Chocolate Baroque stamp/s as a welcome and be entitled to preferential DT stamp purchases.
Moving back to this months challenge, as usual our lucky challenge winner will be able to select an A4 stamp sheet or stamps to the same value from.................
Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley and David Wharton.
We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley. The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!
This month we welcome Gerrina as our Featured Designer, we loved her pretty yellow floral creation in March and now she has a lovely journal page to share......
Here is a little bit about Gerrina:
"I am addicted to stamping since the summer of 2010 and still love to learn new techniques and how to work with new materials. I live in the Netherlands and the last few years I make more Art Journal Pages, but still like to make cards too. I like the CAS style, all kinds of water and pigment/aquarel techniques, some Mixed Media and occasionally make scrapbook pages. Blogging is my way of inspire others and get inspired and meet the most talented kind people. Chocolate Baroque is one of the stamp brands that I love to work with since I discovered it about 9 years ago. I am very honoured to have been invited to be featured designer this month. A huge thank you to the Design Team!"
And some more Sunny inspiration from the Design Team.......
