December - Anything Goes

Good Morning, our last challenge of 2020, a year that has presented unimaginable challenges to the whole World and we pray 2021 will be a better one for everyone. For us as crafters, our hobby has been a great source of comfort and we are grateful to each and every one of you who have continued to support us during these difficult times.

Our theme this month is simply........

****** Anything Goes******

So cards, gift tags and bags, hand made gifts and so much more, all we ask is that you remember the focal element of your work must be a stamped image, you can enter up to three pieces of work.

Our winner will receive an A4 stamp set of their choice or stamps to the same value.

Also, entries using a Chocolate Baroque stamp will be eligible for selection as a Featured Designer on a future challenge post.......there may even be an extra prize of a Chocolate Baroque stamp (please note, November entries have been carried forward).
Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!

Our Featured Designer this month is Helene...........

"Hi, my name is Heléne Ericsson and I live in Umea, in the northern part of Sweden. I have been crafting more or less my entire life but started showcasing my work on in 2009. Looking at early posts you can clearly see how my taste, and hopefully skills, have developed 😊 I love vintage and shabby chic, rough edges, lace and the colour blue and I have more crafted gift bags and boxes than a person of sound mind would keep😇 Crafting is a great way to relax and clear your head, it’s very rewarding to create items from a blank paper and it is REALLY rewarding to be a part of this world wide crafting community with all the love and support here. I’m very honoured to be featured as a designer here on We Love Chocolate Baroque and I hope we’ll see each other again in some form. Hold on, hang in there and keep a healthy distance".

November winner

Hello everyone, it's time to announce the winner of our November challenge and what a fabulous month it was with 154 entries which myself and the design team thoroughly enjoyed visiting. It's nice to see some new crafters creeping in and along with our regulars send our thanks to each and every one of you for your ongoing support.

The Random Generator has been spun and came with with...........

That lucky person is Helen

Well done Helen, I know you have been a 'regular' over many years so our thanks for your ongoing support. Please mail me so I can get your Chocolate Baroque prize sorted. Here is Helene's fun Christmas card.........

We are not having a Top 4 this month, but please don't think we have ignored the entrants who used Chocolate Baroque stamps, their work is being carried forward for inclusion in our next Featured Designer selection.

I look forward to seeing you again on Sunday when our new challenge will be anounced.
