September - Wings with an Anything Goes option

Good morning, on Friday I told you changes were happening and we are mega thrilled to tell you we are the new Chocolate Baroque Challenge, a UK company whose stamps are synonymous with quality, elegance and style.

You can of course use many make of stamp on your entries, please see our rules below.
Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye! A heads up that Lesley will be on Hochanda at 6pm on Wednesday for a One Day Special.

Apologies it's a bit of a heavy post but as it's our first challenge I need to make sure we all get off on the right foot so mentioning the boring word "rules", they are listed on a page above but as this is our first challenge I will share the basics:
  • We are a stamping challenge and the focal element of you entry must be hand stamped and reflect the months theme.
  • Digital images are not eligible.
  • Any make of stamp can be used on your entry/s.
  • But entries using a Chocolate Baroque stamp will go into the prize draw twice and be eligible for selection in a Featured Designer spotlight.
That's the boring part over, now onto our theme for this month which is a nice and simple one.........

****Wings with an Anything Goes option****

Birds, Butterflies, Bugs and Bees and of course Fairies, or go down your own route with the Anything Goes option. And a fabulous prize of a selection of Chocolate Baroque goodies...........

And a reminder that during September we will be having three Tuesday Giveaways. Please share out logo.

As always the Design Team have come up with some wonderful inspiration to set you on your way

Lots of wonderful inspiration from the team and I just wanted to say that I do have lots of CB stamps and will be using them of course, but I had this already made and it fitted the challenge perfectly. I know we don't have to use CB images but as I used to be on the GDT it might be thought a bit strange that I wouldn't. I am looking forward to joining in as often as I can in future challenges, and if possible will post another this time. There are already some fantastic cards in the gallery too. x
